More efficient organization - we are implementing the Warehouse Information System
One of the elements of continuous development Stomil is to implement a modern warehouse management system. This is because the efficient functioning of material management and the warehouse itself significantly affects the effective operation of a manufacturing company and brings benefits to its customers.
The WMS (Warehouse Management System), as it is referred to, is a tool used for warehouse management, often supporting logistics processes, and in our company also supporting part of production processes. It has been successfully implemented in the raw materials warehouse and at a further stage will cover other areas related to the flow of goods.
The main value of such an information system is the real-time exchange of data, which is of considerable importance in all areas of the company and daily work.

- More efficient and continuous inventory control and identification,
- Faster order picking and order processing and delivery cycles,
- fewer errors and mistakes, and thus complaints,
- Improving the efficiency and quality of warehouse workers and saving time,

The tangible results of the WMS implementation have definitely been appreciated by the warehouse team. It consists of both experienced, long-time operators and newcomers. The newcomers go through a fast-track implementation thanks to the WMS program, which controls the operators' work through dispatch. The dispatch is transmitted to a mobile terminal and contains all the information necessary to carry out the activity. Experienced employees, on the other hand, see the advantages of the system in terms of time savings, full traceability of assortments, or more efficient handling of documents, having a comparison with previously used solutions. All the benefits brought by the implementation of the warehouse management system result in an increase in the competitiveness of the company and contribute to improving the quality of customer service. They will certainly appreciate faster and more efficient order processing and full traceability of products.
