The story of our investment began with the establishment of cooperation with a large export customer. One day I received a sample of an extremely lightweight Rubber Flooring with a very specific groove shape. The smell indicated that it was a Chinese product. The customer wanted the product to be anti-slip and very lightweight because of its use in the Automotive Industries. The customer expected us to precisely cut then 24 patterns of formats acting as lining for shelves, shelves and drawers.
Looking at this Rubber FLOORING, I thought that it would only be possible to achieve such a weight with a thin slab with the right density compound surface. With the right texture, we achieved a wonderful anti-slip effect. The proposed thickness and texture, as a result of technological tests, gave a final product that was lighter than the original pattern. This gave us an unassailable advantage. It also allowed us to compete with the then supplier with a more attractive product offer.
The customer tested our product for six months and visited us to see our production before we started working together. Developing the compound and vulcanizing the Rubber Sheets was not as difficult as coming up with and implementing the cutting of the product itself. Due to the significant potential presented by the customer, we decided at the beginning to look for a subcontractor to perform the cutting services. The beginnings were very difficult. We had to adapt the formulation, vulcanization conditions, and section lengths to the specifics of cutting on the plotter.
After a year of very fruitful cooperation with our subcontractor and our client's expansion of format variants, we decided to purchase a plotter. This decision was supported by the growing interest of our existing customers in similar Services and many inquiries from new companies. Choosing a machine was not easy. It took us several months of thorough checking and comparing technical parameters, making technological trials of cutting various Rubber Sheeting, and visits to machine manufacturers to make the final decision to purchase the machine.
We decided to purchase a gantry cutting plotter with oscillation and milling spindle from a Polish manufacturer from Czestochowa. At the time, it was the best machine in terms of parameters compared to four competing companies of other machine manufacturers. In addition to it, we purchased nesting software in order to be able to efficiently perform detail layouts saving Rubber Sheeting waste significantly.
Today, the 2100×5100 mm table gives us an extremely large capacity to cut multiple parts in a single operation. At present, we are already cutting dozens of format variants for our export customer in thousands of pieces per month. We are also acquiring new customers for other orders.
We are very flexible and not afraid of challenges. We are growing every day cutting products for our existing as well as new customers.
