APPLICATION Specialty flame retardant and anti-electrostatic hoses dedicated to Mining. MSHA approved anti-electrostatic and flame retardant. Meeting mining requirements, for machinery and equipment operating under high pressure in underground workings of mining plants. Designed to work in areas at risk of methane and coal dust explosion. Hoses can be used for : - hydraulic fluids complying with ISO 6743-4 except HFD R, HFD S, HFD T (from -40°C to +100°C), - aqueous solutions (from -40°C to +70°C), - water (from 0°C to +70°C), - compressed air (from 0°C to +80°C). They are not designed for fluids containing castor oil and esters. Working Pressures From 63 to 250 bar, depending on the diameter. Reinforcement One Wire Braided high strength steel wire. Outer layer Black colored rubber made of synthetic rubber flame retardant and anti-electrostatic, resistant to abrasion, oil, weather and ozone. For diameters from DN 6 to DN 19, it is possible to produce Hoses in a version coated with ultra abrasion-resistant Black Diamond coating (UHMWPE) with MSHA approval. CERTIFICATES : A certificate authorizing the marking of the product with a safety mark confirming its application to supply and drainage systems of machinery and equipment operating under high pressure in underground workings of mining plants in non-methane and methane fields classified as grade «A» or «B» coal dust explosion hazard. Outer layer High-quality antistatic black colored synthetic rubber, resistant to fuels and oils, as well as to abrasion and weathering and ozone. Hoses surface smooth up to a diameter of DN 12.5, higher diameters with fabric imprint. SIGNING Diameters with a smooth surface are marked with white paint. Hoses are resistant to aqueous solutions of ethylene glycol, as well as to abrasion, weather conditions and ozone exposure. Due to its very good resistance to high temperatures, it is readily used as a hot water hose with temperatures up to 100°C. The hose is also available in Oil-Resistant version. On request, we can protect Hoses with cord-reinforced diameters with an additional outer wire spiral, designed to protect against deformation and excessive abrasion of the outer layer of the hose. Hoses are abrasion, weather and ozone resistant. Upon request, we make additional protection of Hoses with an external wire spiral to protect against deformation and excessive abrasion of the outer layer. Working Temperature From -30°C to +60°C CONSTRUCTION Made according to the PN-86/C-94250/44 standard. Inner layer High-quality SBR rubber compound resistant to acids and alkalis.
